Yep too true, they can use each one for seperate tasks too, like the AI and the physics can all be kept seperate from the graphics so things are gonna be really rather nice in the future

Just heard from one of my housemates fifa 06 or equivalent name on the xbox 360 got 2/10 obviously this doesnt bode well for the future sports games on the xbox 360

my xbox just crasheshed been playin nfs for bout 2hrs an it just froze! hope its just a one off!

Just make sure your power supply and the console itself can breath mate. Use a shoe box or something to rest the power supply on so that all sides of it are able to let air flow

Not every game is gonna be any good, especially when you're talking about a money grabbing bunch of buy outs like EA games. Fifa for the 360 is slated because it was a very lazy conversion and tbh I am glad it got a crap review, it serves EA right and I really hope it don't sell well, but saying that, there's so many people that will buy it purely because of the name... I wonder what sort of people that could be :chin:

ah we speak the same language. why would a poor fifa port reflect on how the sport genre will fair on the 360?
with every launch theres always quick ports launched to catch the early adopters looking for games when there generally thin on the ground. tjhough less so in this launch

CB got to agree. I have stopped being an early adopter for many reasons but once was my experience with Playstation(1).
There were so few games I ended up buying practically every single release, and suffering horribly with such cack as Krazy Ivan.

I got my Xbox in crystal for £99 and by that time the games available really push the system and look way better than early titles. E.g. Halo2 vs Halo.

I'm waiting for the X360 to do the same, then the PS3 and Revolution. They can all join the ranks of my late adopted N64 (£30), Cube (£80) and PS2(£199).

Furthermore, I would rather view the 360 on HDTV and will also wait for those prices to drop. I am in no hurry to replace my otherwise superb 44" Thomson RPTV. The HD Samsung 50" I saw for £3500 last year is now down to £1800. By the time I get my Xbox I reckon I'll be looking at a grand for that set. Joy.

well the jap launch went off with a poof rather than a bang.best queue M$'s PR company could find was 250 people waiting to buy.
M$ really have there work cut out in japan.

totally unrelated but it seems sega are going to relaunch the dreamcast for an unconfirmed period. only in japan though

looks like the japanese launch of the 360 has been a major flop for M$

just 4 days after launch the 360 has had its price reduced by many retailers to around £150 from the launch approx £350

On friday, a scouse lad who comes in the pub, had a load of em (lucky bugger gambled by pre-ordering everywhere and then got em and em being sold out) and said he had been selling them for between £600 and £900.

He then got a call from someone and said yeah i got one for sale, £900. Said meet up 10 mins where? then shot off!

you wouldnt be able to go on live much since japs are not really into western type games

is there any way of getting my gamesaves from the xbox hard-drive onto the 360 hard drive? really dont want to start all my origional games from the beginning?
