Car washed and polished and ready to go.
Even t-cutted out the scratches I have been meaning to do for ages and also sewn up my gearshift gaiter.
It's now in the lap of the gods but the princess is looking super s3xy!!!

Golly, you lot aren't half worried about MOTs.
You would think a weigy board is needed to forecast a PASS or a FAIL.
or a stiff brandy before she / he goes in and a cup of tea with biscuits afterwards
Its not usually life or death just money!

As above, best of luck, although the MOT mechanic will probably use the rules and his experience to judge it worthy or not. You never know though, he may do a Tarot reading or cast some chicken bones to determine it's roadworthiness.

Thanks all! Joking aside, I have been all over the car and can't see any problems. Have got new tyres, discs and pads and all looks ok. It's not like I am going to turn up and hope for the best, so we'll see.
did you replce the rear shoes? I got a tip of the guy hwo did my MOT last year that because they are the self adjusting ones, to set them zoom back in reverse and then slam the brakes on and they'll be fine

Hi Craig, there was plenty of meat on my rear shoes so I left them.
As has already been said, I don't think you're going to need any luck.

My mechanic has always said that it does make a slight difference if a worth MOT station.
As if you've got a wreck of a car, filthy, missing say a hubcap and obviously neglected and a minor thing like a brake light is out, they'll fail it on that, but if the car is clean, and obviously looked after, they'll perhaps pass it if its only a bulb out, and advise it gets done

I agree with Jon. In my experience (i.e. friends cars) those that look worse, generally get examined that little bit closer and often a fault is found, where as my cars always pass
