General Wiring woes!

New on here, but usually good with cars, I want to fit daylight running lights on my 07 Bravo. Tried to work my way through loom to find a "live" with ignition on and also, sidelight wire, so when sides come on, my DRL's will automatically dim.
Is there anyone on the forum know where to get wiring diagram and coding for wires.

All you need it your user manual to see which fuse is the cigarette lighter and take a lead from it directly from the fuse box. don't forget to add a fuse to the wire.

Cheers, thanks for that. Still need to find side light wire to attach to, so when lights are on, running lights dim.

I would be very interested in seeing the finished job as also thinking of DRL. oOnt trust wire colours as different sections of the harness join up to different colours on my car..... Use a continuity tester and relays as the wiring is CAB bus. Good luck.
