Technical Wires found in boot, what do they do?

So I've got these two wires in the boot with connectors on, they seem to run to the head unit, but I don't know for sure what they are, could they be for old parcel shelf speakers or an amp? I know there was an optional boot courtesy light too, but I don't think its that. I have a couple of pictures too:
