Hi all. My Sei (Young, 1999, LHD) lacks a handbrake cover (aka gaiter, aka boot). The ones I can find online seem to be for a different setup. In mine, the handbrake exits from carpet (see pic), not from a plastic surround. Does this need an unusual cover, or is this how it's meant to look??
I guess if nothing else, I could bodge something together. Hmm.

Bizarre. A view down into the bowels. Looks unfinished to me. Has anyone MacGuyvered a gaiter for this?
A guess the gold standard would be to get the longer plastic centre unit of other models, but I'm doing this on the cheap.

Oblong of black leather 2mm thick or so. Cut slit to pass over handbrake and Evo Stik into place atop the existing plastic surround. About the cheapest I can think of.

Or use one of these as a starting point, cut off the fittings, fold & stick?
