Hi Folks,
Was trying to remove front seats today for a deep clean.
Loosened and removed 2 front bolts on drivers side with t30.
Can't get one of the bolts back in as it is not catching. It's like as if it should screw in to a receiver built into the floor but it's not and I can see the ground through the tiny hole in cabin. Any suggestions on how to get the bolt to catch as rail is loose otherwise. Thanks, Tomobelli.

When vehicle was new there would have been a trapped nut for the bolt to locate into, it has either slid out of the way or someone damaged it in the past and put a loose nut underneath in it's place.
If that is the case you will have to do similar or weld a"trapped nut" in same position.
The other common issue can be where once seat has been removed one of the sliders that the seat adjusts on moves out of position, meaning the bolts will not line up in two holes.
By the way if not already done it is a good idea to oil/grease the runners so they move freely before reassembly to the vehicle.:)

Just to update you @bugsymike. I went to halfords today and bought a box of mixed hex bolts for €6. Tried a slightly longer bolt and strained the rail back towards the hole and hey presto she bit and I got it back in and tightened her down fully so seat rail now secure again. Thanks again for your suggestions and help earlier.
