yer normal car is better.

winter tyres,

snow chains *(yet to be put in car boot)

got a bag containing small hexi stove lighter and matches, sleeping bag, tins of soup, mess tin bottled water, ski gloves, hat and the like

folding army trenching shovel (all year round)

Have 2 or 3 work coats and fleece jackets in the car and water proof trousers

a full tool box and a bottle of screen wash and deicer

torch with fresh battery's


coolant was done last winter

Am I the only one who manages perfectly well with absolutely no special preparation other than an ice scraper and a shovel (when it is snowing).

Snow socks for the tyres are always in my boot & a decent ice scraper for the screen &other glass.
Aside from that, the car is in tip top condition.

Ice scraper? shovel? i dont even need them .........

Although i do use deicer and thats about it tbh. Normally when its cold i wear a jacket so dont need a jacket!

I told them that, even dragged them out. That didn't make any difference.

They might be fine with just the front replacing but that's another story.

Its now the first of November, so time to put the all season or winter tyres on. They obviously don't want you to be safe!!

ice scraper and that it in the car lol cos ill prob only get like 2cm of snow
and top up the screenwash and anti-freeze job done

a coat.... gloves... a hat.... dont even need de-icer anymore

and thats it
