winscreen wipers?

hey peeps, my brava has decided to play games with me again, the winscreen wipers hav somehow switched?!?

i hav checked the fuses they are ok.

when i put it on intermitent it goes on full, and when you press up for a single wipe they stop halfway across the screen?

has anyone else had this problem? or does anyone know wat it is or how 2 fix it?

iv had this problem before mate. you need to change your wiper motor. thats what i did and it was fine after i changed it.

what are stalks? and where is the windscreen wiper motor?, cheers loz

Stalks are the plastic bits you move up an down to work your wipers

The wiper motor is under the scuttle panel i think

I would say the relay - which is a little white box connected to the wiper motor under the scuttle panel.

When i had to replace mine, the dafty wouldnt let me buy just the relay so had to renew the whole unit.
