Windows Installer

I'm getting these Windows Installer pop up windows on my Win2K computer whenever I open an application like MS Word. Its pretty much asking for the source disk, one of them being WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software, which I don't have.

Any ideas how I can get rid of them?

weird its trying ot install the widcomm drivers.
do you have bluetooth installed?

widcomm got bought out and threw a wobbly so a lot of sites dont host em anymore

Something has probably binded itself to share a .DLL file (Dynamic Link Library) which may be need to be used when you run executables.

Id recommened running a registry clean application or removing the last thing you installed before this started happening.

Reinstalling Windows is the least complicated way... but may also be the longest.

Yeh I reinstalled Win2K and that's when these Windows Installer messages started popping up
