Crappy hard drive
There's a few things that don't work on 7, but they didn't work on Vista either so to make use of 4GB ram and 64bit processing I'll have to put up with the few little annoyances - think I'll be getting a retail 7 when it's made available. I'm really impressed after the slight disapointment of Vista.

I have it running on my desktop and actually like it.
Strangely though, it's showing my HDD as a rating of 2.1 where vista gave it a 5.9! - Would imagine it has something to do with the system partition being the last of 6 partitions on disk!

Would think you'd need to have a Velociraptor or solid state drive to get near the top mark.

Well I'm back to Vista and happy with it
I'll definitely be trying the RC's but for me the Beta sucked.

Difficult to network with Vista
IE8 very unstable when having lots of windows/tabs open
For some strange reason it didn't seem to want to hold onto cookies so I was always logging back into sites I should have been logged into still.
Rendering with IE8 is patchy at best. To be fair this will be solved soon enough.
The UI, I just didn't like the behaviour of the right click being different in different places!
There are a few other things but for me it's a thumbs down.
Got my TV tuner working with MCE in 7 RC. Works like a charm. Got it setup to record the F1 practice 1, 2 and 3, the qualifying and the main race
Can burn it to DVD later, share with other PCs, all sorts. Really enjoying using windows again. Woah, that took some admitting
