Just wondering if any body knows a solution my window wipers work fine when constantly going but when turned off they stop 4 to 5 inch short of the final position :/ really annoying me now ..
At the back of the wiper motor there is a short arm that drives the two link arms to the spindles. It is not keyed to the motor shaft and can slip. It should be at the 9 o'clock position as you face the car with the wipers in the park position. If it has shifted, remove the wiper motor assembly, loosen the nut on the motor shaft and set the short arm to the 9 o'clock position.
