Window Wiper help please.

I have changed my wiper push rods today on my Punto - now one wiper runs as you would expect, however the other has a neutral position of up. Where have I gone wrong and how do I fix? I need to have it sorted quickly too as I've gotta go back to the garage for a warranty fix tomorrow :bang:.

Have you checked that the push rods are the same length as the old ones

Iff they are, undo the push rod move the wiper to the park position by hand and reattach the push rod.you may have got it 180 degrees out.
The other way is to remove the wiper arm from the spine operate the wipers and let it park, then reattach the wiper.

assuming you left the wiper arms ON when you changed the rods..

Fare point, but it was never said that they weren't removed!

Thanks guy I sorted it, I put one rod on the wrong way . Silly mistake but I did it in the rain/dark .
