Nope. You need 4x100 and if you want to mount 7J wheels, the offset should be 40 to 46. I get occasional rubs on the side front wing fender, with 225/45/17 on 40 offset and 7J wheels. 215/45/17 or the original 205/45/17 should be ok...

Not even close.


205/45/17 are the fitment used on the Puntos that came with 17 inch wheels like the sporting's and Abarths.

It depends on the offset, but it is possible they may still rub either on the arches or on the suspension.

Its a Punto having a 10mm wider tire is going to make zero difference to anything.
The bigger and heavier the unsprung mass the more of an impact it will have on handling and the lower the profile of the tire the harder and harsher the ride will become.
