Not really, but he basically echoed what is said above about this proving the speed traps are revenue generators and wondering how you can ban someone from driving for a non motoring offence and some other stuff, check the sun web site tomorrow and it should be on there.

Never mind Clarkson, just ask Daddy Patrick:)

The ability for courts to ban drivers for other than motoring offences was granted in the Criminal Justice Act 2003 to provide an additional non-custodial sentence if appropriate.

Good old Labour

fao allan

it's not all people on benefts that get away with everything, i've just been taken to court for speeding & am waiting for the fine & points to come through.
get youre facts straight before you slag everyone on benefts off.
im on the sick as i've done the ligaments in my ankle & only whish that i could work ( the wife does my head in).
the people you are referring to are the smack heads that the courts know they will never get the money from 7 sending them to jail is a was of you tax payer's money.
granted tere are some people that will work for cash, but if employers pay cash then you will get the people that will do it.

obviously i don't believe everyone on benefits are conning the system, however after spending the last 4 years in sheffield surrounded by the scum of the earth it's hard to see anyone in a genuine or honest light againg ;)

i live in s.wales & i see it every day, but like i said if there is the opportunity to do it then they will. the goverment needs to clamp down on the employers that hire these people, but all there interested in is getting as much as they can from motorist pockets.
