The MK1 dash has a button you press to test the brake fluid reservoir warning light is working. The indicator warns of low brake fluid if I recall.
My MK2 also has wires attached to the reservoir cap, but nothing happens when you disconnect the wire, where on the MK1 the warning lamp lights.
Wonder if FIAT forgot to fit the low brake fluid indicator to the MK2 dashor have both mine been faulty?

Oh yer – Sorry I’m late1986Uno45S said:Louie, the light might come on if you connect the circuit rather than disconnecting. Try connecting a piece of wire to the two plugs that go into the reservoir cap. That might work.
