By the way Santa, did they charge you anything for the postage??? I've tried the web but when it talks about postage it just says not avilable..... Does that mean it's free or do the just tell you later???
Thanks

There is postage, but i think it was added after i chose to which country it should be sent.
The final price was about 80€, but i will check tonight for the correct price.

I was just going to mention the lowering thing.......i better get this done soon, so you don't catch up :D

By the way, have you used the 30mm eibach springs to lower the jet?

Yes, i used the Eibach 30mm lowering springs; they make soooooooooooo much diference out on the open road, i can actualy swoop through corners now (rather than lean into them) and they make me feel much more confident when going into corners. As for comfort i can only say that outside the city you'll hardly feel it but it's in the little towns with the speed bumps and the pot holes and the manholes that it's slightly more anoying the the standard springs (which arn't that comfortable anyway!!!) , so definately get them....... but wait a while so i can catch up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I won't get them on before spring anyway, so you have penty of time to catch up.

But the next thing you should consider is a REMAP!!!!!!!!!!! (y)

when can we see some pictures of the now lowered jet??
you need to put some pictures in your galery.........come on come come on ;)

Ok, i'll take some pictures this weekend!!!!! By the way, did you get th remap problem solved??? No clutch slipping??? How did you get it fixed???

Yep, the clutch slipping is solved.

He simply loaded a new map for the engine. This one has a max. torque of 370 nm (@ ca. 2200 rpm) and 170 bhp (@ ca. 4150 rpm).

So it's a bit down on torque compared to the first remap, but the max bhp is the same, and it actually has better torque from 1500-2000 then the first remap, so all in all i think it's better now, more drivable.
And believe me it's still very quick. (y)

So unless you're prepared to put in a stronger clutch, i would recommend a max. torque of 370 nm + 170 bhp (you could maybe get as much as 180-190 but that might be pushing it).

ok i got a reply;

Hello Mr.

At the moment not yet realized the Mph dials for Fiat Stilo.
We can develop and realize , but we need an order of at least 30 pieces to
realize a new set that we are not able to sell , because We are not present
in UK market!

May be we can develop if an FIAT STILO CLUB or TUNER place an order for this
models!

So at the moment we are sorry for this inconvenience, but may be in a next
future we can also realize as already done for other mph kit we already
produced ( required from USA!)!

Best Regards

They used 1½ hours, so depending on the hour price at the garage you use, you can calculate the price. There isn't any idea in me giving the price in danish kroner, as the hour price may differ from denmark to other countries.

Just got the bill in the post today, and they only charged me for 1 hour (and not 1½) so i guess i have a very flexible local garage. :)

Price 435,- dkk (about 40£) so can't complain.
