What was the job like to open up the instrument binnacle? and how about posting a how-to guide
:)

Don't know (wouldn't dream of doing it my self, as i'm what you could call mechanically challenged :D ).

I got the local garage to do it (not a fiat garage) and they used about 1½ hours. He reckons he can do it in an hour, now that he knows how to open the instrument binnacle.

how much did the garage charge to do it?

They used 1½ hours, so depending on the hour price at the garage you use, you can calculate the price. There isn't any idea in me giving the price in danish kroner, as the hour price may differ from denmark to other countries.

Forget i aksked that; i just tried birba.com (as the rev dial says birba underneath) and hey it worked!!!!! Than god for the internet!!

I'm sure somone on here posted a few months back, said his mate worked for Lockwood & they were making ones for the stilo.:chin: Will have to consult Stoogle.:D

By the way Santa, did they charge you anything for the postage??? I've tried the web but when it talks about postage it just says not avilable..... Does that mean it's free or do the just tell you later???
Thanks
