Technical which oil filter?

Have a jtd and there seems to be 2 different types of oil filters for the multi.
Being upto 5/2001 and after 6/2001
Mine was registered sept 2001 but that's not saying it was built way earlier in the year!!
The diameter is slightly different by a few mm and the length is about 20mm longer...according to euro car parts..

Well it says July 2001, so I suppose ill go with the samller filter..
