Technical Excessive oil consumption

Seeking advice from the collective wisdom.
My JTDM is using excessive amounts of oil, about 2 litres per 500 miles!
There is no obvious leak on the ground when left standing but the boot is covered in a fine misting of oil, the car doesn’t seem to have any performance issues but the oil pressure warning does sometimes light when turning a corner.
The part (not sure what it is) on the RHS of the engine under the egr is oily but I’m unsure how long it’s been there for, no obvious leak there when the engine is running.
Any advice on what might be happening and how to fix? Is it terminal……

A photo of the suspect part may help.
I had a Doblo with an oil cooler issue at the oil filter housing, they are only made of aluminium and often cause problems , though in my case it emptied the engine oil into the radiator coolant tank.

Just an update on this in case it’s useful to anyone.
Turns out it was a small hole in the oil filter that only dripped when the engine is running, this resulted in a fine misting of oil on the off side underside of the car that somehow coated the rear window and boot. Filter changed and so far so good.
