Technical Where is the speed sensor for fiat scudo (first generation)

Hi.
My speed gauge is not showing any speed info.
I would like to replace it with one from Citroen xara which I also have. Where is it located on Fiat scudo (RHZ 2.0litre)?

I would guess on the top of the final drive unit of the gearbox, where original speedo cables used to be fitted.
Unless anyone else has more specific knowledge.
