Technical where is ecu

can someone tell me where the ecu is on mk1 multipla, photo would be great as well . brough a ecu reader so hopefull going to try it out tonight

Are you looking for the ECU itself or the OBD diagnostic socket?

There's a small plastic panel in the dashboard below/right of the steering column, just above the little shelf. Pop that out (with a small screwdriver along its' top edge) and you'll see the OBD socket.
