General Need a new exhaust ... where to buy and fit?

2005 perol 1.6 16v - My exhaust system is a little bit too rusty, the outer casing is peeling away on a couple of the boxes, smells like I have a very small leak as if I sit stationary in traffic you can definitely smell a little something, and to be honest I seem to always have a sore throat if I spend time inside the car stationary in traffic for more than 10 or 15 minutes in that day. Many good reasons to consider changing the exhaust! Unfortunately taking it into most of the normal exhaust places gets a kind of baffled smile... Looking on eBay it's terrifying as nothing seems to be a fit...
I live in London, happy to travel 50-80 miles.
