Hello fellow fiat folk

i wanted to know what alloys can i get for my cinq... and what are all the sizes that fit without cutting my wheel arches up...

cheers folks!

I have got 15's on mine... but they rub unless wheel arches are rolled, or custom springs.

i would say get 14's they look good still and from what i hear they are no hassle at all.

cheers joe (y)

dose anyone know the sizes... im a novice on this car!

cheers! (y)

I have a set of uno turbo alloys but they wont fit on properly and a garage will not fit them, i have got to remove the two bolts holding the wheel hub on they say, and use spacers on the back i have all this. does anyone kno how i can fit them? the stud patten and everything is the same but the off set is a bit more so i will need spacers. Can i fit them??????

Seems a bit silly that the garage won't fit them, there should not be any rubbing problems *provided* the wheel balancing weights go on the front of the wheel, not the back. Do they have lower profile tyres? (65 or lower?)

To fit the (5MM) spacers is dead easy. Use a 13mm (I think) spanner to remove the little studs that help line the wheel up with the holes when you put the wheel on the hub. These are the bolts you talk about - it's dead easy they should not be that tight.

Then stick on the spacer, and screw back on the removed studs to hold the spacer on. Finally, bolt on the wheel - using longer than standard bolts of course to make up for the spacer. Sets of these bolts can be picked up for pennies at the scrapper, or for pounds at Halfords.

And then try full lock etc at low speeds to make sure there are no rubbing issues. You could do this 'while you fit', if you jack the car up using the lower suspension arm instead of the jacking point.

If there are rubbing issues, make sure it is not the hose going into the brake calipers, or the suspension strut, and then relax.
