Just got four strange wheel or possibly horn crests along with some other parts and I've never come across them before. Wondering if anyone has?
They measure 1 15/16 across the bottom and have a small lip or shelf that would indicate that they fit inside of a trim ring or retaining ring such as you might find on a horn button. They also feature a spoked steering wheel with hole on the spokes with "FIAT" across the center. The letters are within blocks, which would make me think that they were for a later car since this sort of matches the newer body emblems in a way.
All of this would seem to indicate steering wheel horn emblems, but in small lettering at the bottom are the words "mod O-Z" like the wheel maker, which sort of throws everything into the center crest area.
They're cast aluminum, nice and shiny with a pebble-like finish in the far background behind of all of the other elements.
Anyone seen of have any? Possible have some info on they're origin?
Thanks !
