Oh good point, didn't even consider balsamic vinegar lol. Balsamic vinegar and olive oil pourer it is then!

Is this really necessary? Never mind, here goes. This is what I said.
I had to physically escort someone from my common room last year, if people think they can smoke illegal and harmful stuff in my face they can think again - scum.
To clarify, my opinion is that cannabis should not be smoked under any circumstances, since it is illegal. That's my view although I am of course well aware many people have strong views about legalising it for medical use.

And I think that people who smoke illegal and harmful drugs in my face are scum. Clearly medical users don't come into this category as they wouldn't be doing it in my face in our common room. But even if they were it'd still be illegal. And I'm sure you'd argue the drugs wouldn't be harmful anyway.

I think it was perfectly clear to all those not out for an argument that I was not referring to medical cannabis users as scum although for the record I'm against it.

Dave, thanks for thinking about me :) lol

But it is illegal, it's not "less illegal" it just carries a lower punishment than it used to - it doesn't make it less illegal.

If they are drunk to the point of actually being drunk and disorderly then in my opinion, yes.

And for the record I also think people who illegally park on double yellow lines are scum. There's just no excuse for it.

Whilst we're at it, I also think traffic wardens are a motorist's friend and I have never understood why motorists say how awful they are!? Why?! They keep out roads clear and prevent people from parking in bad places. What's so wrong about that?

Here it is. The cars beside it are 1:24 scale. That will give you an idea of the size. I was going to eBay it.

Totally agree Dave and Paul - More traffic wardens can only be a good thing in my view.

Here's one for you then..
Notice where im parked ? OMG im SCUM in the eyes of the honourable Judge Dr_Pepper.. Your entitled to your opinion about people smokin cannabis for medical reasons..but why are you so against it ?
You never broke any law in your life for any reason ?
You tellin me that if you was takin an injured person to hospital in a hurry, you wouldn't go over the speed limit to help them ?
There's no difference with takin canabis for medical reasons...if its gonna make someones life more comfortable when they are in a lot of pain how can it be wrong ?
If it was one of your family would you be against it if it helped them ????

P.S. I was given the option to have cannabis on prescription..

Yet again, I've not judged anybody any more than you have. I've given my opinion and if you think that's judging then you've done exactly the same by giving yours.

You're clearly not up for an actual debate without going on at me personally so I'm not going to talk cannabis any more. That's not to say I don't stick with my opinion and have very strong views on the matter.

As for double yellow lines please tell me you didn't just go park on them just for me. I maintain that IN MY OPINION of course there is no excuse for illegal parking on double yellow lines. I've never done it myself and in fact the law also has this view. Notice by the way I said illegal parking from the start so I've no problem if there are exceptions such as for disabled drivers.

In my eyes (and of course the eyes of the law) not parking on double yellows is very basic and easy to follow. You have to be an imbecile not to know that you are parking on them whereas speeding for instance is a completely different kettle of fish and so cannot be compared.

P.S nice motor.

By Dave : parked a bit close to the bend isnt it? you can still get a ticket for that even with a blue badge
lol.. no blue badge mate..
I just parked there for the photo because its a nice background.. And the only reason the lines are there is to stop people parking and using the common area unless you live there.. Which I do.

And your opinion concerning medical use and being used by someone in your own family is what then ? Would they be classed as SCUM in your eyes ? please answer this one question if you can..
Surely a debate requires people to answer questions ?
Which is my point exactly..

double yellow lines apply to everone. parking for people who live there is called resident parking an requires a permit,
he did reply about about your question about medical use being scum ages back, he said only if the smoke was being forced in his face.
Now can we stop trashing my thread please?
