Re: cakes....eat them

i say corrado vr6, apparently the best handling front wheel drive ever, that or the golf...or a alfa 156 v6....or if you want a great car for you budget an alfa 166 v6, but its a big bus.

Have you considered a vectra gsi?

Re: what!

Alfa 155 V6 - one of the girls at my work has one with all the trimings, a few good and not so good Mods - one of which is the straight thru SS exhaust. Put it this way, everyone in the building knows when she arrives or leaves. It's based on the same model that won the BTCC on more than one occasion. Bit dated looking but worth finding a nice example.

Re: what!

155's are a bit of a bargain. Have been repeadtedly told to steer clear of early models due to several design weaknesses that were addressed in the last two years of the production run.

Re: what!

Yeah his car is Fast as Fook!

Re: Whats the Cheapest V6 Car to buy and Run

BMWs are Straight 6s arent they? Anyway I have a 155 V6 and it is great, costs a bit to keep it on the road but you can get them for £2k and under so you've got the money to pay for that from the savings on the price. Alternatively get a V6 166, they are a bargain, come in 2.5, 3.0 and 3.2. All of the depeciate like rotten **** but they are actually pretty good cars. They are currently in the process of stopping making the Alfa V6 engine due to some gay lords in Europe wanting exhaust fumes to smell like flowers which is a great shame as Alfas will have to use GM sauced V6s, AKA souless ****.

p.s. the 156 V6 isn't too shabby either

Re: Whats the Cheapest V6 Car to buy and Run

yeah you seen some of the kits they do for them from nice an subtle to completely mental.

Re: Whats the Cheapest V6 Car to buy and Run

You could get a really nice 156 V6 for that. Iv just bought a Vectra which has a gorgeous engine. Im admittedly missing the italina style but you could get a very nice GSI facelift for that which is group 16 insurance. I wouldnt go for the ST24 mondeo as the Vec GSI is what forced Ford to replace that with the ST200 which is admittedly good but has a weak engine if driven hard. It depends whether you want a small sports car or 4 door/5 door car etc. The vec GSIs have good residuals too as they are quite sought after amongst the enthusiasts...try www.vvoc.com for info on them.

MX3 1.8 V6

Is going to be your cheapest option.

Not the best, but it will be reliable. The only thing to watch out for is front suspension springs that snap.
