i have a little bit of money to spend and thought a new badgeless grill is needed for my car, but dont really know where to start or what the different ones look like, any sudgessions?

I'm sure you can take off the badge and mount on the earlier grilles???? It looks like that on my 53 plate one, then poss get some carbon wrap and put that on the bars?

view one of my threads pal but mine took bwt two months come and they send it in chrome instead of black but was worth the wait

The place the badge is mounted is moulded into the shape of the OEM grille on both the original and the mild facelift one. There was a guide to essentially hacksaw this bit out and fibreglass extend the grille, which is an option. There's a plastic replacement grille without the badge from here... http://www.body-kit.co.uk/section.php/722/1/front-grilles ...but you need to paint the surround. There was a Mattig one from the continent but as far as I know, you often pay over £100 for it. Could try German eBay perhaps...

The one I got was this one... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UNIQUE-TU...arParts_SM&hash=item3f0e829534#ht_1109wt_1185 ...and it's decent enough. I've had mine on the car for over 2 years now and it's a little worse for wear - some surface rust but it's cheap relatively speaking. Thankfully as you have a black car, you won't need to respray the support behind the grille :D Anyways, here it is on mine...
