What's made you smile today?

PS. if not, why not!
No , I believe in "love and kindness" at least in working on motor vehicles. I am not of the "hammer , screwdriver and a french letter brigade", as in if you can't fix, it f**k it.;)
I did watch a guy the other day trying to push bolts through a mounting that wasn't lined up using a hammer and "wincing". Shortly after he came in to see if the threads could be cleaned up on the bolts, unfortunately not so, damaged bolt and nut had to be replaced and more care taken in aligning the second time!!!

You have no doors then? :)
Nah. I tore em off and threw them over a hedge! On one of my better days. Or was it Desiara after one of my unreasonable outbursts saying " COnsider your self un hinged then, You Sir are unhinged, be gone". I cant remember as Ive lost my hinges!

I told him so.. Didnt I tell him his humongous electro vehicule would wur its tyres out in no time. Ha ha. My lads had to fit new tyres to his eat Ron. I dont think its done so many miles!! PANDAS ON THE TOP!!!

Too much torque and not enough talk I say.

Ive just inspected Ruby's (319) brakes and amazingly they are all good. Nice and shiny. I cleaned them up, the slider pins were a bit black and sticky, cleaned the pads and put em back. RESULT.

Just the back brakes to clean out and htis years service is complete. Next job, 3 Panda axles, bumkper bolts to lube and Noops sumpguard to check and treat... Does it never stop??

Now I did buy a tile cutter somecyears back. A diamond disc with its own water bath. Worth 10 times what it cost anybday of the week. Its saved many times its cost in tiles alone.
Yes, I have one and am using it now so:
My right hand side of head n body is wet from the spray, the stand is soaked as, some of the water from the bath, sprays out the back, runs along the stand and down my right leg. The dogs hate it as much as the vacuum cleaner and I’ve got clogged mucus…other than that, it’s better than a nibbler!

Mine is worse, usually put a towel across my lap as you kneel down to check it's straight along the cut, and the water sprays straight back in an unfortuante place.

I hate tiling , so never used a tile cutter , however I bought a petrol engined concrete paving slab saw at auction (usual trick pull start cord "broken" get it home and find engine seized) after a full rebuild, parts surprisingly cheap, I used it for doing a load of slabs in garden. It had a water pump and sits in a bath of water to reduce dust, but a wet suit should have been provided also;). One of these things.

Bit late to this Party I'm afraid folks but I've been down at my brother's house all day trying to sort some sense into what he's left behind so the probate valuers can get to work.

Anyway, does this one qualify?

Can't remember when I bought/acquired it. Seems like I've had it forever. Head's on nice 'n tight but the shaft's seen better days.

Your copper mallets look like mine, they have done a bit more than a gentle caress.;)

Not for breaking toffee then?
Mind you I did have somewhere a light hammer, which along with a selection of ball bearings was great for making paper/card gaskets.
Not something many do these days.:)
If the part was clean we’d give it a dust of graphite and tap the ring end of a spanner onto the card…same result, different method

Fitted LED daytime running light bulbs to the Panda as the bulbs were messing around a bit due to the twin elements on the bulbs had seen better days & also I've heard about a common issue with Panda's where the bulbs melt to the holders so ordered Argo LED canbus free bulbs which are British made of eBay for £10 for the pair delivered, started the panda up to make sure all was good with nothing on the dash, so now Luigi looks a bit more modern with white LED DRL lights & also less heat on the holders so double bubble 😁

I was looking at their ‘canbus free’ bulbs but always check reviews, their Trustpilot site, seems they’re ‘not compatible’ with all vehicles EVEN wehn you check with their compatibility!
I hasten to add, it’s not just Argo, but others too

I always check reviews & compatibility etc before I buy something, when I was looking they seem to be compatible with most vehicles apart from cars within the VAG group as according to most they need a separate load resistor so I just took pot luck with them & all seems to be good on the Panda
