Female passenger in an Uno? I could picture some Italian woman in her twenties fulfilling that role.

Female passenger in a Wagon-R? At least it’s good for taking the mother shopping in...

;-) lol

I must have been doing uno ownership wrong..

Apparently the Laydeez thought I owned a wagon R..

Well that's why I mentioned their mood upon entering the car. You've pulled, offer them a ride to their/your place and they either don't care what you drive or on occasion some were a little bit miffed about getting into a Wagon R. Until the secret weapon is deployed.

Wooooo-ha-ha-ha-haaaaa!

Still in the shadow of the greatest car in the world for fornication. The twin sunroof Fiat Panda.

Roof open, seats down; just your two and the stars.

I'll have to give the UNO trick a try.

Our Toyota Corolla did the same, but involuntarially, half way home from Spain, I drove the rest of the way with a suitcase wedged behind the seat.

My OH has discovered the real reason for the cut-away dash on the Alfa 145...

On a cleaner note, best vehicle to drive barefoot - VW Transporter, rear engined era.

I wonder if this is going to prompt an Austin marina/grand piano, omg you killed kenny reoccurring theme of James May getting squashed in pandas on the new season of the grand tour ?

Hopefully!! I'd love to see them more on TV!

Surprised they've not put him in a Sandero these days!

I think one other time they 'dropped a car' on a Panda on Top Gear many years ago it was all computer effects, because I typed in the reg and it had an MOT history up until recent years! Wonder if that clip was real... sure looks it anyway!

A panda is far cheaper than CGI.

Let’s be honest top gear have a habit of actually wrecking cars and not a habit of computer effects for anything.

It was the worst cars in history dvd, and it was supposed to be James mays own car which might be why the same reg was still on the road, they just took the plate from a different car that they didn’t crush

It was a red one , his was Black I believe. That one was definitely CGI (from years ago)

I still remember his article in Top Gear magazine about it: he had intended to buy the base model, but the salesman managed to talk him into the Eleganza. Shortly after that, 1 of the magazine staff ran a 100HP for a few months, and he said the ride was far too hard. He would've wanted the engine and brakes from the 100HP, and the suspension settings from the regular models.

I seem to remember that Hammond had a 500 Twin Air.

Went to Beamish for Christmas stuff decided to go to the bit where they keep stuff that doesn't fit in with any of the collections..spotted this oddity amongst the industrial diesel engines

Not a member of staff parking indoors..actually an exhibit..a literally brand new 8 year old Micra 25th anniversary. There are various reasons it's there..however my favourite part was my wifes reaction to it given she had one for 5 years called "Zimbardo" you'd think she would have a soft spot for them and think it was nice that one had been preserved for history.."what the **** is that in a museum for?" Guess even she doesn't see it then!
