Finally getting my tires swapped, and summer wheels on the car. (see continued post in grumpy section).
I didn't know Audi made tires or tyres either
on a more serious note make sure they are the right load and speed rating, same make same size tyres for my croma have massive difference in price between 92y and 95y

Same here! And their tyres are as massively overpriced as their cars, lol!

Just had a look at prices for tyres for our mini and they've dropped from £150 a boot for the oem bridgestones run flats to £93 a tyre !

I just happened to look at a BMW 2002 for sale on Ebay and its one I used to own. I sold it 20 years ago. Still got a photo of it outside my old shop.

It finished yesterday. I thought about buying it back but didn't want the hassle of getting a restoration done. I told the seller to let the new buyer know that I might be interested in purchasing it back when it has been restored.

The joys of a small car on steel wheels. 155/80 13 on the Panda, currently big brands for £40 or less from Oponeo. Wouldn't mind them £45 cheaper!
i had one when no body wanted them just before they became a classic it drove like a new car, but had the classic jumping out of gear fault that you would normally cure by tightening up the out put shaft nut, but some div had welded that to the shaft. so i fitted another box that turned out to be totally seized so i gave up and scrapped the car

handed my notice in today at work, next month I'm starting a new job in a big private healthcare company with nearly double my current salary.

My commute this morning, I was on the late so no rush hour traffic, but for the 1st time in a long time I got to witness someone going full retard. This somehow surprised everyone else as he went on to nearly cause 2 accidents in 2 minutes.
So as a spolier alert, if someone has just undertook a line of cars in a bus lane in a raggedy ass old peugeot, then swerved across the front of an ambulance to avoid a queue at a rounderbout the chances are when he gets to the rounderbout he will also be in the wrong lane and attempt to force his way into the correct one...
I was doing the driving equivalent of sitting with popcorn waiting to see what near calamity he would cause next. Yet all of them seemed to take everyone else by surprise, if he's done one dick move there's going to be more drive defensively..
