My brothers a photographer aswell, works on Practical Photography, cant remember exactly what his job title is but think quite high up in that magazine, he does freelance everynow and then with his friend that works at the same magazine, but like you said, unless you are very well known you cant make a living just off of that.

I know what you mean its difficult to learn when your on your loan but if doing freelance means that you are practicing your industry then so be it.
We are desperate for some cheap freelancers but the work that we need to put out is difficult unless you have learnt what to do here :bang:
We may have some retouching in the not too distant future if your interested.

yeah man. owt that i dont have to goto kent for, chuck it my way! i need more and more stuff for my portfolio so employers dont just go... pft, and bin my CV!

My sisters BF is also a free lance photographer, seems to be doing ok for himself, his latest projects were to photo the interior of some jets and done lots of PR photos for a large supermarket chain, as well as weddings etc. I think most of his work has come from being in the right place at the right time, and knowing some people who knew some people that needed some high quality photography done.

Good luck!

My smile is my throat is getting slightly better and the brown goo oosing from everywhere is now a normal throat infection bright green / yellow :)

Dinner at mums again - she looks after her little soldier when he's ill

EDIT: Not happy :( mum working late gotta fend for myself

Top of Scotland for an activity holiday - bring your kayak, walking boots and mountain bike

Actually I have ended up with a whole 3 bed cottage to myself ;)

That sounds like the best activity holiday ever - and the kayaking, walking and mountain biking sound pretty good too......
