What it should say is this programme isn't worth watching...

My wife bought me the box set years ago...while I understand it has a certain period appeal (as a 5 year old I enjoyed it) it's just generally terrible and gives the impression wood is bullet proof.

Dr. Who didn't make it to these shores until the mid 80s, during the Tom Baker years, and then it was only shown on PBS(Public Broadcasting Service aka Educational TV). We saw it as campy. Mrs.Cheest is a Whovian, with her own collection of Sonic Screwdrivers and Dalek salt and pepper shakers.

I have to say, I never found it scary, but I remember my brothers hiding behind the sofa! Everything these days is blood a gore and CHI, and fight scenes that last forever, regardless of the fact that a few kicks and punches to the head would render most bloodied, knackered, incapacitated or dead

Had toothache while in the states, but the drug stores sold me numbing gel that is still holding it off. I was just going to ring the dentist when they rang me! Appointment reminder for Weds. (convenient) Another tooth cracked and probably going. its getting bloody expensive! This will require anew denture at £1500. As far as Im concerned I aint worth it.

All the old re-runs are dire, knight rider, airwolf, macgyver. They didn't seem that bad as a kid.

Yup, those @vexorg mentions haven't really stood the test of time, yet Starsky n Hutch, Kojak, the Avengers and yes, I was surprised I actually enjoyed, kid-like, the A-Team the other day…but then I miss stuff like The Innes Book of Records and more ‘recent stuff’ like Father Ted and Red Wharf

Father Ted is brilliant, wish it went on for longer but unfortunate what happened to the actor that played Ted, the day after filming the final show I believe?!

Still yet to make the trip 3-4 hours south to get a photo outside the house!

Surely after they've been doing this for a few years the bad guys would know if the A-Team turns up they never kill anyone just go about your business like they aren't there..also if you lock them in somewhere don't leave the contents of a garage, 3 different vehicles and some bullet proof 4x2s..

Build some tank out of a few scraps of wood and a ball of twine.

blow up the enemy but not actually kill them, que shot of people dusting themselves off after an entire building just fell on them.

Congratulate yourself on a job well done, make some cheesy joke to wrap up the episode


Rinse and repeat for all episodes, copy and paste the formula for knight rider airwolf and pretty much every 80s action series
