I think she was "nose blind"That must of smelt awful, I'd be embarrassed if that was my car

Sounds familiar as an apprentice I got the job of washing out a part/ex Vauxhall estate that had come from a guy who did the same. There were maggots everywhereWe had a woman who bred Pyrenean mountain dogs, nobody liked working on her cars, a succession of 131, regretta and Tempra estates/SW, the stench was unbearable and you came away with more hair than the dogs had
Yes, we have a dog, Ottie, who has eaten three seatbelts on wife’s car and one on mine…I only had to remove one panel on the Cherokee to fit new one, on the wife’s renegade I had to practically dismantle the car!Sounds familiar as an apprentice I got the job of washing out a part/ex Vauxhall estate that had come from a guy who did the same. He came in a the petrol pumps one day looking like he had just done five rounds with Mike Tyson, apparently he had to get in and break up a dog fight in his yard as they were show animals. Braver than me, especially as he wasn't a big chap.
At another garage we had another who everytime his Ford Granada came for Mot we had to replace all the seat belts due to his dogs, also there was no upholstery on any of the seats, all they had were the bare springs and the steering wheel was chewed too.
We had another lady with five German Shepherds, when doing the Mot I proceeded to put a plastic seat cover in the car, she said "Oh! Don't worry about that", I said it's for me, not you.![]()
Have you tried feeding the dog?Yes, we have a dog, Ottie, who has eaten three seatbelts on wife’s car and one on mine…I only had to remove one panel on the Cherokee to fit new one, on the wife’s renegade I had to practically dismantle the car!
Bloody things eat us out of house n home! They chewed everything wehn pups, but Ottie has a penchant for webbing, to be fair, until last week, she hadn’t done it for at least 18mths!Have you tried feeding the dog?![]()
So not still teething then?Bloody things eat us out of house n home! They chewed everything wehn pups, but Ottie has a penchant for webbing, to be fair, until last week, she hadn’t done it for at least 18mths!
No…they’re 3 1/3 now…Otties the little oneSo not still teething then?![]()
I see they are practicing for standing on the podium to collect their awards, they look quite healthy considering the lack of food, or do they get nourishment from the seatbelt webbing?.No…they’re 3 1/3 now…Otties the little one
The only awards they’d win are ‘bloodymindedness’ and ‘selective hearing’I see they are practicing for standing on the podium to collect their awards, they look quite healthy considering the lack of food, or do they get nourishment from the seatbelt webbing?.![]()
I didn't look but I take it they are female then? The only awards they’d win are ‘bloodymindedness’ and ‘selective hearing’

This reminds me of a story my dad once told me, they had a Porsche Cayenne come in one day when they were still quite new, this particular Cayenne was just out of the 3 year manufacturers warranty & had iffy electrics, the cause of the problems soon became apparent as the woman who owned the Cayenne her kids had been throwing food on the floor & down the sides of the seat so instead of cleaning the car like any normal human being would she just left it & spread mouse traps around the car, to which the mice then chewed all the wiring resulting in the car having to be completely rewiredSounds familiar as an apprentice I got the job of washing out a part/ex Vauxhall estate that had come from a guy who did the same. To be fare to the owner, a cayenne doesn’t need mice chewing it to develop its own electrical problems it’s perfectly capable of doing that itselfThis reminds me of a story my dad once told me, they had a Porsche Cayenne come in one day when they were still quite new, this particular Cayenne was just out of the 3 year manufacturers warranty & had iffy electrics, the cause of the problems soon became apparent as the woman who owned the Cayenne her kids had been throwing food on the floor & down the sides of the seat so instead of cleaning the car like any normal human being would she just left it & spread mouse traps around the car, to which the mice then chewed all the wiring resulting in the car having to be completely rewired

@Project40cars on here and on YouTube had a twin turbo v8 until a couple of months back, got quoted £7k to do a timing chain…… he said no but still had to pay £2k just for them investigating the problem, and this was not at a main dealer eitherI have heard before about Cayenne electrics being problematic

He dubbed it the CryAnne
£7k if he’d gone ahead with it as the £2k was spend on pulling the engine apart to find the problem£7k for a timing chain & £2k for the privilege of the problem being investigated so £9k it would have been had he gone ahead with it, that's nearly new cheap car money. I would have most definitely said no as well, I think I've watched some of his videos, was he the one with the yellow MK2 Punto
