Local Council and their council tax system.

You get 3 months free while your property is unoccupied they said. Got a bill though, so called them and they said no its property specific and already been used.

Okay then, why are you charging me the full amount and not the single occupancy rate?? Oh its because you have to live there to get that :bang:

I will be moving in tomorrow, with a sleeping bag and matress, just to get the cheaper rate! Money grabbing sods

Mis-connection:

The youth in the chavvy Ford who ran the length of a petrol station sliproad and tried to force his way in front of me into queued traffic. If i hadn't spotted your bright blue headlights in my window (or heard the bean tin on the back of your car) we'd probably have met a lot closer. I went around your bonnet and looked after my car. You looked at me; your ridiculous ice gem haircut showing. I looked at you; mouthed that you're a ****. I was in the white Fiat. I think we had something beautiful for a moment there.

I suspect it's to stop second home owners leaving a house all year without paying a penny

What a poo storm I'm having this week.

1/ The chap who's supposed to be swapping my old Alfa 155 for my FTO forgot to take it off eBay and subsequently sold it for less than I would have paid if I had the money.

2/ Some pillock took the "Police Accident" signs away from a corner where there was a head on collision on the 23rd. I and seven others have slipped on the diesel and oil leaked from the crash and ended up in a ditch since.

Best of all. The Council sent the road sweepers out but because the signs had been lifted cleaned the wrong corner. :bang:

I did not know about the collision until I reported my off. I couldn't see the diesel and oil as the whole road was wet and it was twilight. The front wheels locked six feet from the apex and even though I cadence braked and steered it wasn't enough to avoid the ditch. Nobody was hurt.

3/ Working over Christmas and New Year not a big deal but now the overtime will be going towards fixing dads Skoda instead of Panda parts.

4/ Fox Hunt toffs riding through my village today.

I'd like to kidnap a few and make them run on a treadmill with Pitbull Terriers chained up behind them so as soon as they get tired and fall off the dogs rip them apart. Just to see how they like it!

Shame I'm at work tonight I wouldn't mind protecting my mates livestock from all the dangerous dogs about. Including those on horseback.

It's just awful the things people will do and say to those whose only job is to help those in need...she's been doing the job for a few years now but it seems to be getting the worse.

Having spent the Christmas period in hospital, I have observed from inside. No over-exertion admissions to the cardiac ward, but the actions of some visitors was surprising. They were rude and demanding to the staff, as were some patients already there, as if the staff were slaves.
The staff, nurses, doctors, and the support staff work tirelessly, without complaining, regardless of the day of year. I have, and still am being, incredibly well looked after, and have nothing but praaise and admiration for them. Sadly, we can't refuse treatment to the rude and grumpy ones.

Considering that I clay'ed my Punto only a couple months ago, it's pretty gunked up down the sides and on the rear again. It's like it just wants to pick up everything it sees as it drives down the road. Quite annoying...

Every day without fail I have to wash my alloys down and at least once a week have to wash my windows because of mud and dirt. I'd be thrilled with a couple of months of spotlessness clayyyyyyeeeed goodness!

I'd have expected it to improve slightly when I fitted the narrower winter alloys on mine, but that wasn't the case.. I don't really care too much about my winter alloys, but my summer alloys with a polished lip, looks absolutely awful within a couple days of washing them (n)

Polished lips over here too! One day left unwashed and they look like they're rusty and about 20 years old.

Makes me sad. :(
