What's made you grumpy today?

What's made you grumpy today?

More to the point, 100 years later and lessons have not been learned.

It's one thing to fight a group who thought they are superior, but to fight over the best way to worship someone who might exist is a bit silly, they are all speaking to the same person just using different telephones. . .

Many things make grumpy yet again, but the latest:
Email to day saying that the insurance cannot view the video file from the dash cam via Dropbox

The file to way to large to send via email; I am new to Dropbox but they should be able to view it:confused: Can't figure it out so i've ended up editing the video to cut it down to make the file size smaller. then try Dropbox again... New fancy "150 Mbps" internet says 30 mins for 0.5Gb upload

Hopefully the garage will call to say my Car is all fixed and ready to pick up. Only been trying to call them for 5 days and been unable to get though:mad:

Update: Newly trimmed footage has no sound?! Gahhhh.
Anyone know how to trim footage from a Go Pro Hero 2 and keep the sound with it?

Its most likely their IT systems won't allow them access to drop box for a number of reason (downloading viruses, staff uploaded stolen data, etc)

would be far better to put it on a CD/DVD in a standardised file format

don't edit and trim it too much or you risk them saying its been doctored

Laptop blew up this morning while trying to sort out the dash cam footage for insurers :-(
At least i recently repaired the desktop :) only need a wireless network card to get it up and running. The laptop may need to be replaced though... Luckily it's still in warranty

Dude, you have got to be the unluckiest guy I've ever come across lol

£448.30
Is what AXA want to renew my policy!
What is it with insurance company's do they not want repeat business?
The old meerkat got me £243.56
£200 cheaper, I can't be arsed changing but not wasting £200

That's how they get away with it, it's a laziness tax basically.

But I'm going too this year :D

I want breakdown cover also, it's looming over my head, and my friend had to use his which brings it to reality,
I'd rather be glad I did not wish I had.

use a cashback site now for a quote from who ever was cheapest on meercat and also get the breakdown cover from a cashback site and get personal cover that covers you for what ever car you are in even if you are a passenger, ones included with insurance are often just for the 1 car.

i'm not allowed to post referals to cashback sites so if you need to join one and want 500 tesco clubcard points pm me

Just have a look on here first, Axa are only 3 star, so probably not going to be going with a worse insurer, but always worth a look as price isn't everything ;)
