Fecking lentil eaters in their eco cars, I understand that some people may wish to save the world by buying an overpriced piece of tat that's been shipped 1000s of miles from the opposite side of the world and is filled with harmful acids and precious metals but do you really have to travel everywhere at 37.5mph? Are you worried that if drive it like a normal car you actually get the same mpg as a normal car? Or maybe in the case of the citroen c-zero he couldn't go any faster as it being the middle of winter his range his measured in feet and inches..30 grand for extra inconvience to yourself and everyone stuck behind you..

*wanders off shouting at no one in particular*

Just remind them that by driving an electric vehicle they are actually using a product [electricity] made by burning fossil fuels, a chunk of nuclear power and a teensy weensy bit of green power. Plus those nasty batteries will probably not last the lifetime of the car how eco is that?

Personally I believe if you are that way inclined (i.e an eco warrior with a car..not you know willing to bike or bus it) buy a small locally produced second hand vehicle with either a petrol or diesel engine depending on your annual mileage, and run it into the ground.

I could have coped with the c-zero if I hadn't been stuck behind a Honda insight on the way home as well....then to take the cake the once that had buggered off I got stuck behind a stereotypical micra driver because the insight was slow enough for him to toddle out joining the head of the half mile queue just released by the Honda turning off...

Shame my little joke went over your head Dave, I'll try not to be as subtle next time. Would you like me to explain it or do you think if you thought rally hard you can work it out for yourself? And before you get all self rightious yes I do know that the 500 is based on the underpinnings of the Panda.
