im gutted! Got home from work @ half 2 today after an easy day so thought id try replace the aux tensioner myself seen as my mate never turned up!
Got the old 1 off and moved it about and it had a bit of play in it and you could hear the bearings inside when i span it.So fitted the new one(hour and half later)started the car up and it still whistled but very faintly
Begninng to think its the cambelt tensioner(s) that are making the noise as when i got the new engine only the cambelt got replaced by the owner
i just replaced filters,liquids and belts.

True that but remember I live in Ireland where if something isnt not crooked no one wants to know. Speed cameras are often set to capture below the limit in rural areas, national straight roads and motorways for example

I saw a lorry driver once park his truck right in the way of a speed cam van. Nothing they could do
They are supposed to be marked just as the fixed cams have yellow stickers, but they can park where they like. Derbyshire repainted one of their's in blue and caused quite a fuss at the time. They had to put stickers on it as they were otherwise risking court cases for entrapment. They backed off but maybe its a grey area of law.
The only solution is a jammer but get caught and its obstruction.
The vans are every colour and a KY reg so harder to spot.
Some people have a remote for their garage in the car that acts as a jammer.
There are solutions that people take that I do not agree with as the taxpayer has to pick up the pieces

Totally agree with that one. The reason is to do with sales marketing jargon. They can call it cloud and people think it's all new exciting and are willing to pay 10times as much for something they probably have already. Key example is MS Small Business Server 2011 (they have a cloud solution as well as traditional onsite server solution).
Another one that f***s me off is 'dongle'. Not its not a f***ing dongle it's a USB 3G/HSDPA Modem!!!!
A dongle is a physical authentication token!
I always thought a dongle was something that you could not think of something to explain how to say it. and enabled use of something.
