Not officially the Citroen hatred thread but perhaps the message to take away is spending any time with anything with chevrons on it or the the Citroen dealer network will make you grumpy.

Yes, Citroens should be made to carry health warnings... Liable to cause anger, frustration and mental pain.

Yeah, I passed my test in an AX with a faded plastic boot. It was agricultural, but OK. My C3, on the other hand, was desperately crap. Plastic bits fell off with almost every journey... I shouldn't complain about my Nemo, though. Apparently it's a Fiat underneath. I'm not convinced.

Ah, so this is the Citroen hating thread, eh? Nice one. My Nemo is the crappest car I have ever had, a total crap bag. Drives like a dog, always got issues. Everything falls off including, most recently, the crappy rubber brake pad. I've owned Citroens before... So why I got this is a massive mystery.

Wow - now I do feel a bit better!

Isn't a nemo a fiat qubo ?

Unfortunately yes... But I like to think all the things that go wrong are Citroen and the half decent bits are Fiat... Denial? Maybe, but it gets me through.

That thing's got about a week left with me and then it's gone for good... And I get to play around in a Tipo. :)

PSA - Peugeot S.A. - the Peugeot Citroen Group... A miserable story of crap collaboration and crappier Citroens (and Peugeots)...

You've driven one of them you've driven them all.

It's bizarre, if you sat my Mazda next to my dads Focus, both of which are based on the same platform and designed in the same period, for the same corporation to compete in the same class you'd be hard pushed to find a single visible commonality.

The DS3 on the other hand has several visible components in common with my dad's old 307 from 2001 despite being a different class of car in a different time period. Then you have the gearbox, brakes steering and clutch are and always have been consistent between different psa cars and are rubbish.

Then there's the body work quality..rust after 6 months.

You missed the cheap plastic clip-on panels falling off after a couple of months, but otherwise spot on. ;) The only positive of PSA is they're cheaper than Renaults (if you're into that French thing).

My little 1.3 punto diesel after 7 and a half years with me has finally gone off to pastures new with its new owner tonight. It's currently on its way up to Manchester where it will be doing the school run and probably end up "sticky" poor thing, but at least it's not going to some trader or to be thrashed to death by a Chav :(

One of those commutes where you get stuck behind one person doing 27.5 mph and because of that they get stuck behind a bus that is happy to pull out on someone who obviously has no where to be then because your stuck behind them both you reach every light as it changes to red...and everytime the bus stops there's cars coming the other way and the one time there isn't the space case who caused it all dithers so bad the gap is gone.

You know it's bad when a learner catches up and starts riding the bumper, if I'd missed this one Astra I'd have been to work 10 minutes earlier.

Funny, I was just about to come on here and moan about the same. Got stuck behind some wally in a grey Astra.
Got to some lights, accelerated away, nearly to 30, then the Astra suddenly drops to 20, I back off, car behind me gets closer. Astra just starts tapping it's brakes!

Watching a biker with a helmet cam get up in someone's face for no visible reason other than they were wearing a helmet cam. Nearly stoppies to halt in a queue of traffic to bawl at a guy in a corsa who'd been there for some time. I'm thinking he was looking at his phone while stationary hence the tirade and several gesticulations to the camera on his helmet either that or his lane discipline had made lane splitting difficult.

Now I've seen this sorta thing on YouTube but in the street in Newcastle? Somehow I feel as though this safety crusader is increasing his chances of not only getting knocked off and the person who knocked him then making sure they did a proper job..
