he wasn't here, daughter don't work Mondays, i was only going to go drive him in as daughters car still has no clutch.
ive grown up and don't read hoaxes people type. they have been giving the reasons why they shut all day on the news and no matter how hard the news reader tried to push the same hoax the people who shut the schools constantly denied it was so.
People may claim against schools but it isn't why the majority shutting in the snow.
On an unrelated note to the argument above my rabbit is currently guilting me in to spending time with him...was brushing my teeth before bed and he walks down the stairs and starts bouncing round my feet....so I wanna be in bed but he won't leave me alone..

lol. My cat does the same. Sleeps all day and then when I want to sleep starts yowing and head butting the living room door trying to get upstairs.
He's getting me back for his first experience of snow yesterday....he's always been an indoor rabbit so it blew his mind..
I haven't opened my shop today.. Because I couldn't physically get down to the drive.
Because of - SNOW and ICE.
If you're not interested in taking on board what other people say then just don't reply Dave, simple as that. H&S is crazy now because everyone is out to claim off people that try their best.

Put your money where your mouth is, next time it snows here you come and drive your car up my drive and back down without slipping or spinning wheels. If you can do it without scraping or or gritting my drive ill buy winter tyres and pay your fuel expenses to get here. How's that sound?

Managed to take a chunk out of my finger taking a front bumper off a mk5 astra which is STUPIDLY low

some troll threw a snowball at my cars windscreen, that set the alarm off.... at 2am yesterday morning.. lucky i had the window open a crack or i may have slept through it.

Just took my kid to school. Had to use the car because I've put my back out and walking is a struggle at the moment.
Coming back up the hill from the car park, the road still has a bit of snow and ice on it, but it's not an issue as long as you keep moving.
Steadily driving up the hill and saw there were two women walking up the same direction at the side of the road. It is a wide road, so no issue there, until one of them decided to just step out into the road, knowing full well I was approaching. Of course, I had to slow right down and couldn't get going again. Reversed back down and set off again, passed the women, got to the top of the hill and some div pulled into the junction to do a u-turn on the intersecting road. Had to stop and couldn't get going again. So I carefully reversed down the road again to have another go.
As I'm reversing down, I notice the two women, who are now on a footpath that goes off at an angle so they are a good 15 yds off the road, glaring at me, but by this time I really wasn't in the mood for any silliness. As I set off again they start gobbing off at me, so I pulled the window down to see what their problem was. Apparently, they felt I should have waited until they were at the top of the hill before setting off, as I was being dangerous. When I pointed out that they were being dangerous by walking out into the middle of the road, they really didn't like it, and one of them gave it the whole "Don't talk to me like that. I'm going to get my husband!"
By this time I'd had enough,so I told her to get him and I'll wait for him, and suggested she give me her address so I can go and see him. they both shut up then and shuffled off.
Absolute pair of bitches.
Should be interesting in the playground next time I drop my kid off...
