Found damage on my newly refurbished alloys
I haven't curbed them and as far as i know no one else has driven it, so i'm guessing something hit them... I've not checked the car for damage but alot of cars on our road have been damaged:mad:

Also, i'm trying to insurance my laptop, the insurance people want like for like (old for new)
Sadly i cannot find a laptop as good as mine, either alot worse or abit bitter...:(
Dell no longer make this model - Studio 1580 - top spec

I cannot even find like for like graphics - full HD 3GB Radeon
So i'm advised to get prices for slightly better - but insurance Quote for these are silly!

Will Dell offer you any cover now, or would they only do that when it was new?

I think my 1555 with a 1080p panel, 7200rpm disk, 4GB, P8600 Core 2 Duo and 512MB Radeon was somewhere around 50 quid for two years extended warranty, accidental damage cover, home call outs for hw issues, etc.

I went for a run today, nice 2.46 miles in 24:13, got back in my car to drive home and had driven over a ****ing nail! £65 later and its fixed :(.

trying to do my dads brakes, don't have the tools as it uses allen key bolts. never needed any before, eventually found one that fitted in the shed and it just rounded the key, fortunately the bolt hasn't been affected.

He had it checked where he works, they flagged up pads only, but the discs are heavily lipped! so was going to replace the lot.

Phone problems
Internet problems
Car Engine Problems - Valve clearances off slightly, making the car use more fuel and it's now beginning to have starting problems:(

And once again I'm struggling with the alloys - trying to get the Rim uniform all the way around - at the moment i have thin patches where the wheel was undamaged and thick/wide areas where it was damaged so i'm trying to sand it down then widen the rim, so meet halfway, because some of the patches go down deep where a large bit of the wheel was taken out:(

Also found damage on one of my recently finished alloys:( - found a brick had hit it & our '91 Panda sergio.. :(

And to top if off I've fallen ill:bang:

Glad that's out:p

After bending over backwards to do a close friend a favour, my vans thermostat hose blew up in spectacular fashion, in the middle of traffic in the local tip of a town, spewing coolant everywhere, creating a nasty smelling fog and causing people to rubberneck and make all sorts of snide comments...:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

At least I caused a major traffic jam for a few minutes

People's general inability to be 'decent'. Whether that's telling the truth, doing what they say they're going to do, or simply being polite in returning phonecalls/etc when they say they will. Really makes me despise the human race sometimes.

Well that doesn't sound good! I've sent you a text. x

First day back in uni. Walking down the road to catch the peasant ferry and my Mrs opened the back door to let the dog out. My youngest (18 months) saw me walking off down the road and started crying and shouting "Daddy, Daddy" as though he thought I was never coming back. All I could do was wave and keep walking. So sad

Reminded me of that episode of Family Guy where at the end Stewie is walking down the road trying to hitch a lift with the sad 'walking away' music playing
