@lukemortlock: bit of honesty here. when i rang about lowering 30mm, they wanted £295. Because my springs are fiat springs but just from the abarth and is not that notcieable, i havent declared them.

As for my alloys, I paid £150 extra for them.

Im changing in April. Can't stand speaking to them. Im with Bell by the way

I havent yet no, Cant decide if i want carbon wrap or gloss black wrap, I'll get it when ive decided.

I can't decide either! Might just opt for gloss black, might be a bit trickier to put on because it's not as thick as carbon fibre stuff but I think I have enough carbon fibre on already, don't want to over do it!


Oh any idea who you are going to change too? LV gave me a good price!

In regards to carbon fibre vinyl, this is the best price I've found for enough to do the roof. 1.2m x 2m is more than enough and is £17.49 free delivery

I've heard putting 17"s on will knock the speedo out or something? Dunno whether this is true but with low profile tyres on they're pretty much the same size as 15's with standards, arent they?
Was wondering if any of you guys knew anything about this! Probably a silly thing to ask but you guys know more than me so good to ask cheers

Was speaking to a bloke at work about this today. if you put 17s on it may knock youre speedo out but by less than a mile an hour difference to actual speed. dont know how true this is but he knows his stuff.

I have 17" alloys with 205/40/17 tyres and when going through digital speed cameras it reads 32mph when car's speedo reads a flat 30.

I have a traffic master app that reads the correct speed, similar to sat navs etc. so shows the right speed.
