Styling what mods should i do to my car?

Looking at mine is a bit confusing but I'll be happy to draw up a diagram sometime tomorrow, out for the night now....

thanks mate I'd appreciate that

Isn't there a guide over in the guide section, wiring a pre amp out or something....,

Yeah just read through that but I don't have a factory sub so I have no wires like that in the boot. Best option for me is the wires from the back of the head unit

Not with the car at the moment so can't check for sure, but.....

I used one of these adapters for the speaker wires,

All the wires on the box are labeled so you can easily match them up to the car,

You can use the third diagram in this thread

https://www.fiatforum.com/grande-punto/288336-wiring-new-head-unit.html

Though the wires should be labelled on the back of the factory head unit.

Connecting the wires using something like these,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Wire-Connector-12-Position-Barrier-Terminal-Block-30A-k-/120639918514

It's not the cheapest of routes, but works very well...
And having the option of tweaking the bass using that little box is a bonus...

My remote runs off the cigarette live, powers on with ignition then

Located beneath the centre console, red wire that goes into the cigarette socket, ran it up the centre console and round to the back with the rest of the wires

Hi rake, was installing my amp and everything today and went to wire the remote to the bottom of the cig lighter but with quite a bit of struggle couldn't get it out. How did you do it? Or did you take off panels etc?

You can grab and pull the back part of the centre console out and lift it over the handbrake, exposing the wires.... No screws to undo and without having to remove the lighter itself (as It's a pain)....

Grab down behind the single cup holder, and just pull up, ... It's two parts so best pulling from the back of the cup holder itself....

You'll be surprised just how easy, makes cleaning down the sides of the seats easier too....

Just read through the whole topic, car's coming along brilliant! Amazing how you went from being unsure of some wrapping to wiring up a sub and lowering it yourself. How time flies!

Ah great thank you. I assumed it just pulled out without any bolts or anything but didn't want to tug it incase I broke anything. Will give it a go later!

Thank you! I know, things certainly change!

ive been trying to clean down the sides of my seats for ages...thanks mate i never knew this!

the rake I remember you saying it was the red wire but I just want to check. I have a black wire (I assume is ground) and then a yellow wire with black line, and a red wire with white line. Is it definitely the red?
Thanks!

Does anyone actually know what a cherrybomb sounds like? I've been looking at em of a while now but YouTube videos aren't the way to go about it haha. They have a nice rumble but I don't want it to wake up the street when I pull in!
