What induction kit for my HGT!!!!need help as its driving me crazy!

Right, i have the following battle in my head!

Sound 'v' Power

I love the sound of the HGT and i want to hear more of it LOTS more, but i also want power????

Open air induction kits are better for sound but dont always make much of an improvement! but closed ones make a massive (in comparison) difference in power but dont sound as loud!

What do i do????Any recommendations?

I think i will oder a CDA of Nige......

I think i have decided to go for noise, as personally i wouldn't notice a 'quoted' increase of 2-3bhp...

Same problem bud,same thought process! Got a K&N induction kit sat in the shed and cant bring myself to fit it as probably going to go for the CDA from Nige.Power sounds better than sound if that makes sense!?!

Nige got 12bhp out of his alfa with a cda! that must be noticable?

I think a CDA is the way forward.. i have e-mail nige, awaiting his reply! ...

@martin, would you consider selling the K&N?

no. there'd be a tiny metallic sounding whine possibly, but only ever so slight, sometimes, occasionally.

Greens do a closed induction for the HGT too. Really happy with mine, it adds to the purr significantly without making your 2.0 sound like a 1.1 nova with a K&N
