fitted new drivers side hand brake cable, 2 minute job but was shaking like a sh*teing dog cause i didn't have a jack with me so drove the back wheel on to a wooden pallet so i could slide under the car:eek:

fitted new HT leads, though i've lost my spark plug socket so can't do the sparkplugs just yet.
I've found the missing badge off the steering wheel though:)

just found the problem in the wiring for the heated rear window, Hellcat have a coconut! it was cut in the unbilical. i'll get the soldering iron on it some time soon.

depending on the weather im going to strip my front brakes down tomorrow and make sure my sliders are free as on drivers side my brake seems to be rubbing all the time, im also going to paint my calipers and fit new bleed nipples as they are rounded off and i couldn't bleed them after i had changed the rear caliper sliders, they work sound enough but it would just be peace at mind knowing they are done right. if i get time aswel im going to take the gearbox off my spare engine and get started with reconing it, my gearbox is getting a bit loader now with the whining, first ill check if the gear box oil is ok as i think i had a small leak coming from my drive shaft but that has stopped so it could be that it has run out of oil and thats why its stopped.

well what a day! stripped drivers front caliper down and as i thought one of the carrier sliders had ceased so i tried to free it up but it snapped:eek: phoned fiat dealers but they no longer make or stock them , tried phoning that gary that is breaking one on ebay but number didn't work:bang:, as i was about to give up for the day i remembered i had replaced the carriers on the back so i had the old ones, which were beleave it or not the same size slider pins:D so had to go to a local garage and get them to heat the pin that had snapped up to get it out which they did for £5:), anyway all is good now, only managed to get that one caliper painted and i painted my rocker cover as well. the picture of my caliper painted is not very clear as it was getting dark when i finished.

looks very nice mate really like the finish on the cover. My ones been painted blue as well just think it sets off the engine bay just that bit more. i also have another rocker cover with a crackled black finish doubt i will ever use it though.lol

i was going to use the rocker cover off my spare engine, and get it powder coated but i took it off saturday morning to clean it up a bit but noticed it is a different shape on the timing belt end:( i want to get the plugs cover bit filled in where it says 2000 16v electronic injection and have sedicivalvole ingraved in instead, think it will look good.

soldered the wire together in the unbilical. measured the current with it off to save a repeat of last time which came up as 0.01 on the smallest setting of the ammeter so shouldn't drain the battery....
need to put fuel in though, the fuel warning light has started flashing at me! didn't realise it did that!
