funny enough I was thinking the same actually.

Looks like we have got to get the exhaust done as she has started blowing. Mind you it was probably the shock of doing 75mph on the M2 that might have done it on the way home Sunday afternoon.

Got Poppi's exhaust sorted and a full years road tax. Also a good wash and hoover out to get rid of the finger prints and the bits of balloons from the weekend.

Just need to check her fluids later and we are set for a weekend away in her. 300 mile round trip to the West Midlands.

After a fashion, I finally sorted a coolant change.

Got the MOT fast approaching, so looking to spend some time 'prepping' for that soon. Possibly 2 new tyres required? We'll see.

new radiatior is leaking which has really pee'd me off. not from any of the hoses and is dripping more fromt he centre. :bang:

Problem sorted

Turned out that the hose that goes onto the head/block wasnt on far enough and water was escaping. so that got loosened and wedged back on again.

Next probelm!

Took the fron indicator lenses off to clean them as they were full of gunk. in doing so one of the screws broke (pic below) and one of them wasn't the right sort, just longer self tapper with a washer which was very rusty.

So if anyone has two spare i would be very gratefull and will pay if wanted. I need the two of the one in the top of the picture

EDIT: :bang: broke the other two whilst putting them back in. Don't suppose anyone has aworking ePer with a part no? will ask at fiat tomorrow. should still be available to buy as a generic part upto '03

If they are still in....gently tap and brake the remaining plastic with a small screwdriver and hammer...lift off the lens and use pliers to unscrew the metal screw...

If that is what you mean??!!

getting pretty fed up with my idle jet blocking up every time I go out at the minute so now:

two fuel filters for the floating crud to contend with and replaced the fuel pump to be on the safe side. And the fuel pipes under the bonnet
Also (and see seperate thread) got the new bumper on with new smaller spots let in:

which makes me much happier

checked fiat about the screws, only available in packs of ten... which is odd cause you'd have enough for two and a half pandas. the worst bit though the price. £1.22 per screw. £12.20 for 10 screws!! I'll use self tappers i think. do the job just as well

I just finished front bumper welding and put him back on.

fixed the sat for second time in 2 days. the bar taht connects the two hooks, that hold the seat to the bolster has come out of the left hand side of the seat. its meant to be welded in and you can see it's sheard off. neet to get it tacked back in place other wise it will just come out again and again.

I have just treated my Sisley to a new set of tyres. I have got a brand new set of Pirelli Winter 160's from Italy. Now the car look's great with the tyres it would have had when it was new.

New tyres are probably a must for me before MOT. I was thinking of a set of Cinq Sporting wheels but I am just not sure. Thinking about it, a set of new tyres and re-spray of the wheel trims will look just as nice.

Just sorted my dash out and also checked that I have not lost any fluid since last week's drama of the coolant change. All looking good.

A lot of the guys seem to be doing a coolant change pre-winter, don't forget to keep an eye on the level in case it needs time to settle.
