One more idea, there are two instances in PL, one finished recently: 1.1 16V turbo
I have thought about making my seiT a 1.1 mpi 8v turbo, just sticking a P75 head on it as it is basically and using the mf2 to run the mpi rail. being that there is nothing at all wrong with my bottom end and it can rev higher than a 1242.
Got a link to one of these 1.1 16v cars, would like a gander at that.
I don't think the first project was documented, the second one is behind registered users only forum. Try youtube for Seicento 1.1 16vT by ahamay1985. Perhaps there is a public gallery, but won't be able to dig it out now.

Me too. The Brazilians have 16 valve 1 litre jobbies, but straight out of the factory.

no real advantage other than shorter piston stroke and thus higher rev limit as i can see it. cool nonetheless.
