General What did you do with your Panda today?

Today after it's extended slumber, the little Fiat has been treated to a full wash, clay, machine polish and ceramic sealant. Not a swirl or mark anywhere [emoji106] look at the reflections out of that!

Inspired by Alex I've given my bird poop pop a little freshen up although not to the same degree as Alex.
I armed myself with b&m's waterless wash, a home mix of water& vineger ( for the windows) and 3 microfibre and I think it's come up good!

If your OCD with car cleaning then I wouldn't recommend it as it does leave tar spots and the odd hard fried bug on there, but for ordinary mortals or people who live in high rises without access to a hose then it does a good enough job! I also think if you kept on top of it during the winter months it would be a much better option than getting the car unnecessarily wet.

I thought about washing mine, but thought better of it. In bright sunshine, the paintwork is dazzling enough to require sunglasses even when dulled by months of accumulated dust and grime. Washed and polished, it might present a distraction, and could cause accidents. :D

So I washed the B instead. A much more satisfying experience, tbh - sensuous flanks that are a joy to soap down, no plastic add-ons to contend with, and no need for a step-ladder to wash the roof (y)

I'll miss this car once the 595 arrives!

Yes its a bit of an odd ball. Identical in a lot of ways to the Sirion, but with just enough differences for most bits not to be compatible.... Generally its inoffensive, and drives well with particularly good torque from very low rpm. there is actually 1 new one on ebay at £6995 which must be the bargain of the year for anyone just wanting cheap reliable transport

I am told its a toyota unit, but possibly not one used by them in the UK. No timing belts with it anyway, so that's a plus. The brakes amuse me as the front pads are so small. They do however stop the car well and don't fade in normal use. I don't think it would be my choice of car, but the price must be a big draw. Its coming up 7 years old and has been almost 100% reliable though. I can see why people choose them. In the end it has to be Panda's on the top! I wouldn't swap.
