I'm hardly using mine just now as my wife has been poorly so I've using her GT86.

Getting in & out aside, it's a fantastic car but I'm really missing my Panda.

One thing, my Panda has been a proper little workhorse during the clearance of my late father's house:cry:

I sold a set Barchetta LM wheels today, that i had laying around for use on the Panda, but decided differently. :D

It's the in gear acceleration where you'll really notice it - it's got a fair bit of torque, the 1.4 170.

Yes indeed. The 75 was up at 4000 rpm before it reached max torque which I think was in the order of 200lb/ft, it was though a heavy old beast, one reason it it soaked up the bumps.

I loved the styling of the 75. I remember when they first came out, my boss got one - I couldn't stop looking at it in the car park. He said that it looked and drove like a modern Jaguar should.

The build quality on the first of the 75's was excellent. Sadly when BMW went Rover did what they called a project drive taking off the small nice touches, thinner carpet and adding fake walnut, all to save a few pounds. The 1.8 was slated due to head gaskets, great engine if looked after and any use of coolant fixed, often it was pipework or tee pieces that caused an overheat then the gasket failed. There's still a good few around yet and 75&ZT Club is very good.
