I didn't know that it was "Viva Zeelanda 2017" time already, most times i'm not aware of those dates.
If i would had known, i would have go.

btw, you are not in the participant list, so far i can see. :D

No I don't participate. Didn't have the time. The meeting is almost where I live so I always go down to have a look.

Fitted his two FF stickers. Put the new jack in. Its a 1250 Kg one from a Doblo or poss 500x and is perfect for the extra height needed for the 4x4 - £33 from eBay. Then a trip to the shops for supplies and MORE petrol. Wonder of Wonders he managed 59.6 mpg on the five miles from shops to home, so he can do it!

Today I fitted some Osram Diadem "Chrome Design" indicator bulbs to the 4x4 TA.

They rid the "fried egg" look of the original orange bulbs.

Not that you can really notice the orange in the rears, but I did them too.
While the rear clusters were out I gave the area a good clean as all the muck collects around there.

Just waiting on the repeater bulbs turning up.

I also ran a power lead from the fuse box to the boot.
Ran it under the sill trims then in behind the boot side carpet, behind the rear cluster.

I've now rigged up a wide angle dash cam in the back, hangs off the "Panda" embossed plastic trim at the top of the rear tailgate.
Due to the dark tints of the Antarctica, you can't see it from outside.
Now covered front and back with cameras.

Mended my passenger door mirror again.
Drunken little g!ts twisted it forwards so it came off its bracket (as https://www.fiatforum.com/panda-201...pair-door-mirror-twisted-off-its-bracket.html)
They did something similar to several cars yesterday evening.
Apparently there was a big group of young teenagers drinking wine (?), and the police were called at some time in the evening, so I'm hoping names and addresses were taken and there will be some action.
Allegedly, they were drinking in the back garden of a house which is rented out by the landlord living next door, and he had two cars vandalised. If true, then I think/hope the tenants will soon be on their way.
Mirror is now repaired and fully functional, but there are scratches on the paintwork where the mirror scraped as they twisted it off. Hopefully T-cut will be enough.
Just how I wanted to spend Easter Sunday afternoon - not.

Hi.
Today I replaced the front discs and pads, see here: https://www.fiatforum.com/panda-iii/449710-brake-disc-diameter.html?p=4259944

On the 12th I changed the engine oil and filter, the car had done under 1000 miles since the last stamp in the book. I was quite dubious about this especially considering the sludge on draining the oil.
At least I have peace of mind now that I know its done.

Celebrated its 2nd birthday by treating its underparts to a thorough jet-washing, but it still stinks of pig-muck when I turn the ventilation/aircon on. :bang:

I used to work on a pig farm. After a while everything smells of pig muck... I don't miss it!

One of the happiest days of my life was when my neighbour retired from the intensive pig-rearing business (sad but true!). Now, I only have to put up with the smell for a few days during muck-spreading. Back then, when the wind was in the wrong direction, the damned smell got in through every little crack, and filled the house. And speaking from 25 years' experience, there's nothing that corrodes a car's underneath quite like a regular coating of pig slurry!
