I find that a slow boiling of some Electric Window fruit, and some Electric Window sugar makes a nice ELectric Window jam
Rather than using WD40, which is oily, I think a silicon or PTFE based lubricant on the runners might help.

hi have the same problem on my punto the pasenger window gos up really slow i thought it was the motor getting a bit tired,i used greece in the sliders and it works great now just worked up and down to losen it up.
how hard is it to do? i also thought it was the motor wearing out? my sisters passenger is starting to go slowly, but not sure why? she doesnt use it as much as her drivers but thats fine?
I had this problem on mine, i took my doorcard off and ripped throught the plastic to get a look at what was happening whilst it was going down, as far as i can remember there was only one nylon (or similar) runner on the bottom of the window. mine is badly worn and i didnt wasnt to fiddle too much so in the end i jammed a little bit of cardboad between the glass and the runner (it probably wouldnt be classed as 'a runner', more of a point where the window is attached to the drive system ) that didnt really do much so i just did as others have now suggested and coated the felt window runners either side of the window in a lubricant that was silicone based, cannot remember what it was called though
On another note, if you grab the top of the window while it is midway down, does it move to the left and right alot (towards the front then the back of the car) feeling loose?
